Soroptimist Gulf Dubai is chartered under the Soroptimist Europe Federation and is a recognized branch of Soroptimist International (SI). For almost 100 years, SI clubs have worked to create a better world for women and girls. The organization's current diversity, equity and inclusion statement was endorsed by its board in 2022 as follows:

• As a global organisation, SI recognises and values the contributions of volunteers from all backgrounds, regardless of age, ethnicity, race, colour, ability, religion, socio-economic status, culture, sexual orientation or gender identity. SI believes that a diverse community of volunteers is essential to its ability to achieve its mission to create a more equitable future.
• SI celebrates multiple approaches and points of view and know that different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds create a stronger and more creative environment to serve its purpose and achieve its mission and vision for gender equality, human rights, peace and security.
• SI will embed its equality, diversity and inclusion values into everyday practice, policies and procedures so that equality, diversity and inclusion are maintained and promoted at all times. 

Soroptimist Gulf Dubai exists in a multicultural and pluralistic environment. It welcomes diversity in its membership with nearly 10 different nationalities currently represented. The principles of Soroptimism, that we uphold in all our actions, are to strive for: 

• The advancement of the status of women
• High ethical standards
• Human rights for all
• Equality, development and peace and 
• The advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace

We are committed to working for a more just and equal world. We will continue to do our part and contribute positively to our communities, countries and the world by supporting and implementing projects that educate, empower and enable women and girls to reach their full potential, regardless of their background, race, ethnicity, religion, ability, or sexual orientation.
